These upcoming events all take place in the Mill Gallery, 560 Mineral Spring Avenue in Pawtucket, first floor

PAC Member JoAnn Bromley will be running an art journaling workshop on Thursdays February 13, 20, and 27th from 5:30-7:30pm. The workshop is free and open to the public. A donation of $5 towards materials is requested.

Materials list:
Journal, preferably a mixed media, but any book will do as long as the pages are sewn in and not just glued.
Markers, colored pencils
Gesso white
Glue stick (the kind that you use for gluing in scrapbooks, not in a glue gun)
magazines or printed images or quotes you like
Heat gun or hair dryer
Joann will have magazines, water colors, acrylics, stencils, et cetera, but attendees should feel free to bring favorite supplies to work with.

The show "Lasting Conversations" opens on February 15th with a reception from 2:00-6:00pm and runs through February 23rd.,Participating artists are: Robert Brodesky, David Dauer, Robert Dec, Gail Edwards, Ron Fortier, Marcia Goodwin, and Denyse Wilhelm. The TECM Artists was formed out of the recognition that for over forty yearsa  group of artists who studied at what was then called SoutheasternMassachusetts University (SMU) under the tutelage of four professors: Ed Togneri, Bill Elliot, Herb Cummings and Frank McCoy are still making art today, through us. "Although our mentors are no longer with us their influence has lived on in our collective work." This show will contain new work by each artist represented, plus a unique show of old artwork from each, dating back to the seventies and early eighties.

Of course there is still time to enter the 2020 Foundation Show. You may enter 1 or 2 works. Member fees are $15/1 piece; $20/2 pieces. Non-member fees are $18/1 piece; $23/2 pieces. For more details, please click on this link: The show opens on March 12th from 5:30-7:30pm. 

Lin Collette will be running a Collage Workshop on Sunday March 22nd from 1:00-5:00pm. Participants need not bring anything unless they wish to. All materials will be provided. The workshop is free and open to the public but a $5 donation towards materials will be greatly appreciated.

Last but certainly not least, Frank Lally hosts a weekly figure drawing session on Saturdays from 10:00am-1:00pm. The member fee is $8; non-member $10. The fees will pay for the model. Patricipants should bring drawing and/or painting materials and an easel if needed. Chairs and benches are provided.

In the future, we will be having a blackout poetry workshop by Tom Terceira in April and the Spring/Summer Member show in May as well as collage workshops in April, May and June.
