This oil painting is 19x19 inches in size. Of it Patrick says ""Go Bo Diddley” is an oil painting interpreting Chuck Stewart’s photograph for Bo Diddley’s first Chess album in 1958. I was compelled to paint this because I wanted to remind people of the incredible spirit of rock n’ roll that Bo Diddley communicated through his music and his attitude. He was the real deal, and this portrait seeks to capture that swagger. I kept the palette quite limited and aimed for a sepia look, populating the white studio backdrop with warm shadows and vague background references."
